Do you sell electric or motor-assisted rollators?
No. Trionic does not make electric or motor-assisted rollators, and there is no motor kit to fit to one. The Walker and Veloped are pushed by hand, but large air-filled tyres, a low weight and easy steering keep the effort down on gravel, grass and forest paths.
What does the work instead of a motor
- Large air-filled tyres — the Walker 12er and 14er and every Veloped run on 12″ or 14″ pneumatic tyres, which roll over gravel, grass and roots far more easily than small hard wheels.
- Low weight — the Walker 12er weighs 9.2 kg, the Walker 14er 9.9 kg and the Veloped Sport 11.4 kg. With no motor or battery there is nothing to charge, and the rollator stays light enough to lift into a car.
- Syncro Steering (Walker) — the patented steering keeps the Walker easy to guide and stable on uneven ground.
- Climbing wheel (Veloped) — the patented climbing wheel rolls up over kerbs, roots and stones instead of getting stuck.
- Hand brakes — on downhill stretches you control your speed with the brake levers.
Which model suits walks in fields and forests?
If weight matters most, start with the Walker 14er: it is under 10 kg and handles forest tracks, gravel and grass well. If your paths are rougher, with roots, stones and kerbs, the Veloped and its climbing wheel will take you further. Unsure?
