Hello! How can we help you?

Will the private health insurance and the allowance cover the costs?

All of our Velopeds and Walkers are according to the European Standard for Rollators (ISO-11199). They are all registered as class 1 medical devices. The Velopeds and Walkers are therefore registered and accepted as rollators within the EU.

All health insurances work quite differently, and some health insurances do not follow the laws for free trade within the EU. Some health insurances require an aid number for the rollator, but we cannot get an aid number since we do not have a sales partner in all countries.

Other health insurances only grant a subsidy for a rollator that is supplied by a medical supply store with which the health insurer has a contract. Please contact your health insurance company to inquire.

Without a walker or two-sided crutches, I am permanently bound to a location. I have tried several rollators over the years, such as the Nitro, the Topro Troja and the Alevo Carbon.
