Hello! How can we help you?

Can a rollator be taken to the cabin when I fly?

Due to the limited space in the cabin, rollators and walkers are carried as checked baggage free of charge. If you need help moving around at the airport, you can request a wheelchair in advance.

To ensure a pleasant flight, the airline usually kindly asks you to inform them in advance if you have any kind of disability, reduced mobility, visual or hearing impairment or mental health disorder that requires special attention at the airport or during your flight.

But in order to travel without issues, you must pre-book assistance no later than 48 hours before your departure through your airline. It’s a good idea to pre-book your assistance when you book your flight so that the airline can help you at the airport.

The rules might differ between airlines:

  • My Fabulous Veloped…

I purchased my Veloped 14er in May and have found it to be a great product. The shipping was quick, the packaging sturdy and protective, and the Veloped came ready to go! I named her Vera.

Since the first day, the Veloped has transformed my life. …

  • Finally more freedom of movement and safety…

After several health challenges, I find walking difficult, especially on uneven surfaces. I hardly ever went outside anymore. I particularly missed walking in the woods. Now my family has ordered me the Veloped Sport. At last I can go for a walk out…

  • Based on excellent experiences with the Veloped and the Walker…

Based on my excellent experience with the Veloped, I also bought the Walker for my mother to use in the city. So far, my mother is completely satisfied with both mobility aids. Both walkers are robust, well-designed and make a very good impression.

  • Very satisfied…

The manoeuvrability and quality of the components are excellent. The Walker, with its large tyres, is much easier to steer than a conventional model, especially on uneven terrains such as pavements or gravel paths. The high axles on the rear wheels i…

  • A really great product…

A stable and modern walking aid, could just as well be used by younger people with or without mobility issues. Works very well on ice and some snow. For us with lots of snow during winter, you might imagine putting skis under the wheels, or using the…

Hi, My Trionic has given me support and good traction even in the snowy climate in Luleå, Norrbotten and in a way that Mr. Counsil never has been able to or was intended to do.
For me, Trionic is absolutely necessary for my rehabilitation when it co…

  • Remarkable...…

Sturdy, beautiful, simple to "assemble" (just attach the wheels) and a pleasure to use; enables me to walk my dog endlessly, whether on city streets or down country lanes, and even on the beach, in spite of the arthritis that has limited much of my d…

  • The Veloped is the best walking aid you could have…

It was a lucky shot that I found the Veloped online, I fell for it immediately. The Veloped gives the best support you could imagine, it is much better than both walking canes and crutches, you can relax when you’re walking, it rolls very easily and …

  • Satisfied…

Very satisfied with my new walker, good functions and sturdy when walking.
Folds up with ease but doesn’t stay together particularly well when lifting into the car.
I feel it needs a clip to hold it together, I have improvised with a bungy strap w…
