Detachable Wheels

All Velopeds have detachable wheels with push-button quick-release axles. By a quick push on the quick-release, you can quickly and easily detach the wheels in order to minimize the transport weight and dimensions of your Veloped.

As you can quickly change the wheels, this also allows you to use two different wheel sets; for example one 12” wheel set with Schwalbe Big Apple tyres for the city, and a second 14” wheel set with Innova IA-2004 tyres for off-road use.

Load the Veloped into Your Car

Thanks to the foldable frame and detachable wheels, the Veloped can be transported in any type of car. Watch the video in order to see how the Veloped is loaded into a Volkswagen Golf.
